NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS IN THE SOUTHWEST ZONE DEMANDS N794,000.00 AS THE NEW MINIMUM WAGE

The Nigeria Labour Congress in the Southwest Zone has demanded N794,000.00 as the New National Minimum Wage.
The NLC in the geo-political zone made the demand through the Chairperson of the Lagos State Chapter of the Union, Funmi Sessi.
Sessi made the demand while making a presentation at the ongoing public hearing of the Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage in Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday.
She said that the demand was jointly agreed upon by all the members of the union in the South-west.
The thirty-seven-member Tripartite Committee on new National Minimum Wage was recently inaugurated by the Vice President Kashim Shettima.
